Reforestation Project

Parador Resort & Spa on August 20, 2014 - 10:56 am in Community

Teams from Parador Hotel and the Parador Volunteer Program joined forces today with the Titi Conservation Alliance during a Reforestation Project that took place in the community of Sábalo. The purpose was to repopulate the site with enough biodiversity so that it can eventually become a habitat for the titi monkey and the scarlet macaw.

We planted a total of 250 trees including species such as: mono guava, cocoa, Malacca apple, custard apple, mountain aguacatillo, yellow almond and others.

We’d like to extend our thanks to the officials who accompanied us and form part of these sustainability programs.
